Welcome to MTC's Summer Stage Musical Theater Camp!  We are so happy that you are joining us.

 

Auditions will take place the first day of camp on Monday, August 7th, first thing in the morning. Camp is located at First United Methodist Church, 446 E. Camden Ave.,  Moorestown, NJ 08057.

 

Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move in (please no skirts), sneakers or dance shoes, bring your lunch, a water bottle with a lid and a pencil. On the first day, for auditions, please bring an MTC audition form, resume attached if desired. Actors will be given their scripts at the audition. 

 

If you cannot attend the auditions in person, please send a video of your audition song to info@moorestowntheatercompany.org and jody.haggerty@gmail.com by 10:00 am on August 7th.

 

You will find the audition materials by following the link below. It is divided into folders by character. In each folder, you will find vocal/instrumental tracks cut to audition length as well as the matching pages marked appropriately from the Piano/Vocal score and a very brief monologue. Please prepare the material for the character for which you would most like to be considered. The monologue does not need to be memorized. Please click here to access the audition materials. No camper is required to do a vocal audition if they are only interested in being in the Ensemble. Campers may request to do a reading if they would like a speaking role.  Everyone must participate in the dance audition. 

 

Some actors may be asked to do a callback audition. Actors should familiarize themselves with all of the audition songs in addition to the one that they prepare for their vocal audition. Actors may be asked to sing an additional song.
