We are so excited to begin working with you all on this production of Cinderella: Youth Edition! As we are the first session of MTC’s summer camp, our schedule looks a bit different than the others.

 

Our camp dates (that are also posted in our show logo and on the MTC website) are: June 15th, 19th-22nd, 24th-29th, and July 1st-3rd. Please note that June 15th, 22nd, and 29th are Saturdays. We will sill have regular camp hours (9-4) those days. If any of these dates have conflicts or your child is still in school, we will have a spot on the audition form for you to let us know. Conflicts will be taken into account for daily rehearsal scheduling as much as possible so please be as honest as possible!

 

As a final note, please make sure you are signed up for our Remind messaging system which enables us to quickly communicate with you all regarding both camp and the show. Simply text 81010 the following message: @24-SS-I.

 

Below is the link to our production Google Drive folder that contains audition material for the campers. In it, you will find folders for each character(s) and their respective sheet music, vocal track, and instrumental track. Campers are more than welcome to print out their sheet music for the audition or use the book we will provide but we strongly recommend they familiarize themselves with their song before their audition.

Due to the truncated nature of our schedule, we are trying to hold most of our auditions before our first day of camp on Monday, June 10th and Tuesday, June 11th from 4-6 pm. If you are available, please use the following link to sign up for a slot on our Google Sheets document.

On a final note about auditions, we know that for some performers it can be a daunting or nervous experience. Therefore we do not require every camper to vocally audition (but would love for them to!), but we do require everyone participate in the dance audition. Everyone will learn the routine together and then we will break off into small groups. It’s also a wonderful way to meet other campers and support each other! Please ensure that appropriate shoes are worn for dance! Closed toed shoes are best and we recommend not wearing Crocs.
