We are taking our Summer Stage ’12 Session I production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Jr. to the iTheatrics Jr. Theater Festival over the Martin Luther King, Jr. Weekend (Jan. 17 – 21, 2013) in Atlanta, GA.  We scouted the 2012 Festival and it was the most amazing theatrical experience of our lives!!  There will be 90 theater companies and close to 4,000 children at this year’s Festival!  We would love to share this experience with more of our children (Ages 7 to 17), so we are inviting any MTC performers to join us.  We only get to present a 15-minute performance, so we will be condensing the original 90-minute show.  We will be having rehearsals in December and January before we go to Atlanta. So even if you were not in our July production, you will be able work with our original cast members at these rehearsals to see what we have deleted / condensed from the original production. Call Mark Morgan at 609 / 922-2506 with questions!!

Cost Per Person:

                        $185 – Jr. Theater Festival Registration Fee (this fee must be paid by everyone in our travel party, i.e., cast, staff, parents, siblings, etc.); this includes:

·         All-Access Festival Pass (Adjudication, Workshops, Choreography DVD Auditions, New Works Showcase, Friday Night Dance Party, “Success” Panels, Broadway Junior Slam Performance, Celebrity Guests, Book Signing, & Awards Ceremony)

·         Festival T-Shirt

·         Souvenir Program

·         Saturday Breakfast & Lunch Vouchers

§  We have added $10 Breakfast Vouchers for Saturday & Sunday to the original $165 Registration Fee

§  Friday, Saturday, & Sunday Evening meals are not included in this package.

·         Sunday Night Theater Ticket (for Blue Man Group)

                        $150 – Bus Travel Package

·         This price could go up or down based on the number of people attending.

·         Meals while we are traveling by bus are also not included in this package.

                        65 – Hotel Package for Two Nights (Friday and Saturday, based on four people sharing one room)

·         If you are traveling with less than four people, you will share a room with others.

·         Unless you want to pay a higher price to be in a room by yourself

                         $400 to $500 – Total Per person (this is an estimated price; final pricing will be determined once we know how many people are actually traveling with us)

§  We expect all parents who are traveling with us to serve as chaperones for at least their children, and possibly for other children who don’t have parents attending.

§  If you are OK with your child attending without you, we will make sure that he or she is chaperoned by one of our attending parents.

§  The Jr. Theater Festival requires that we have one adult chaperone ‘per every four students at all festival events’.

§  We need you to sign and get this form back to us by Monday; we have to send a form for every attendee to the Festival organizers.

§  If you are paying your JTF Registration Fee by check, you need to get your check to us when you turn in this Release Form.

Here’s what we need from you ASAP (but by Monday, October 29th at the latest):
