Audition Dates and Times

• Thursday, September 14th from 4:30 - 7:30 PM

• Saturday, September 16th from 5:00 - 8:00 PM

• Tuesday, September 19th from 6:00 - 9:00 PM

  • This date will be primarily for callbacks.  If you are unable to make our Thursday or Saturday auditions dates work, we invite you to send in a video audition or to reach out to BOTH Coach Mark at mark@moorestowntheatercompany.org and Mr. Will at williamreidperformer@gmail.com

 

Please note that while we do not require every cast member to perform a vocal audition, we do ask that everyone attend one (1) of the dance calls. You do not need to sign up in advance for the dance call. Simply show up on your preferred date at the time listed on the Sign-Up Sheet.

 

The audition material is divided into folders by character. In each folder, you will find vocal/instrumental tracks cut to audition length as well as the matching pages marked appropriately  from the Piano/Vocal score. Please prepare the material for the character for which you would most like to be considered.

• Rudolph, Hermey the Elf, and Young Rudolph - “We’re a Couple of Misfits” (m. 1 - 33; Rudolph may also be asked to sing m. 40 and 41 up the octave)

• Clarice - “There’s Always Tomorrow” (m. 28 - END; May be asked to sing final 2 notes up the octave)

• Santa Claus and Other Reindeer - “Jingle Jingle Jingle” (m. 66 - END)

Please note that not every cast member will be called for every rehearsal​.

• Tuesdays (starting 9.26) for Music, 4:15 to 7 PM

• Thursdays (starting 9.21) for Blocking, 4:15 to 7 PM

• Fridays (starting 9.22) for Blocking & Music (Leads only), 4:15 to 6 PM

• Saturdays (starting 9.23) for Dance, 2 to 5 PM
